Garlic Mushrooms with White Wine & Butter

Serves: 4-6
Ingredients:
  • 1½ lb baby bella mushrooms, halved or thinly sliced
  • 2 T butter
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Sliced green onion for garnish
 
Directions:
  1. Brush mushrooms clean and set aside. Heat oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Add garlic, salt and pepper. Continue cooking until mushrooms have browned and released liquid.
  3. Stir in thyme and white wine. Lower heat to medium-low and simmer until most of the liquid is gone. Seasoning with additional salt and pepper, if needed and garnish with green onion.
