1½ lb baby bella mushrooms, halved or thinly sliced
2 T butter
2 T olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp dried thyme
½ cup dry white wine
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Sliced green onion for garnish
Directions:
Brush mushrooms clean and set aside. Heat oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
Add garlic, salt and pepper. Continue cooking until mushrooms have browned and released liquid.
Stir in thyme and white wine. Lower heat to medium-low and simmer until most of the liquid is gone. Seasoning with additional salt and pepper, if needed and garnish with green onion.
