Easy Pie Crust

Makes: 1 round (double for a covered pie) 
Ingredients: 
  • 1 cup flour 
  • 1/2 tsp salt 
  • 6 Tbsp cold butter (can use butter alternative to make vegan)
  • 1/4 cup ice cold water 

Directions:
  1. Mix together flour and salt in medium bowl. 
  2. Cut in butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture is pebble-like consistency. 
  3. Add water and blend until mixture pulls together. 
  4. Roll into a ball and place on lightly floured surface. Roll out dough to about 13″ circle.
  5. Gently roll dough around rolling pin and unroll over pie pan. Press into pan and crimp edges. Use for favorite pie recipe!
