Beef or Turkey Burger 

Serves: 4
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1/3 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp yellow or Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Olive oil if cooking in a pan
  • To serve: Buns, avocado, tomato, lettuce, onion slices, pickles, ketchup, mustard and any other toppers that sounds delicious!
 
Directions:
  1. Add all ingredients to a large bowl. Mix until just combined.
  2. Form into 4 patties, about ½ inch thick. Use your thumbs to make a depression in the center of each patty. Place on a cookie sheet coated with nonstick spray and hold in the fridge until ready to grill or cook on the stovetop.
  3. To Cook:
  • Grill: Grill for a few minutes on each side until cooked to desired level.
  • Stovetop: Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Once oil is shimmering, cook for 4-5 minutes per side until reaching desired level.
